Regarding the Elimination of Honorary Personnel, the Bandung City Government Will Obey the Principles
The Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB) plans to remove honorary workers. Furthermore, the status of government employees starting in 2023 will only be of two types, namely Civil Servants (PNS) and Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK).
Related to this, the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, said that the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) would follow all regulations if it had been decided by the central government.

However, Yana admitted that she did not know in detail about the plan. However, at this time, the implementation of the duties of both the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and honorary staff is still running.
"Maybe later if it is deleted, we don't know yet. It seems that the Kemenpan RB conveys that there will be no more recruitment of CPNS (Prospective Civil Servants), all to PPPK (Government Employees with Work Agreements)," he said.
"But the needs of employees are met, from civil servants to PPPK. We don't know yet whether honorary duties should not be disturbed. Maybe what the term is, we will follow it," said Yana.
It should be noted that the status of honorary workers will be completed in 2023 so that there are no longer honorary employees in government agencies.
Menpan RB, Tjahjo Kumolo said that from 2023 there will only be two types of government employees, namely Civil Servants (PNS) and Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK), both of which are called State Civil Apparatuses (ASN).
