Bandung City Government Receives Aid 21,840 Medical Masks for Education Sector

The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) received assistance in the form of 21,840 pieces of medical masks. The assistance was received directly by the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana from the Kawan Lama Foundation through the Ace Hardware Living Plaza IBCC at City Hall. Friday, January 21, 2022.

For this assistance, Yana said thank you. Moreover, assistance will be provided for the education sector.

"The Covid-19 pandemic situation in Bandung City is relatively under control. Based on existing indicators, which are commonly used by the World Health Organization, it shows that the Covid-19 pandemic in Bandung City is under control," Yana said.

Yana hopes that with the end of the Covid-19 pandemic, the economy can recover. So that people can live better.

While Area Manager of PT Ace Hardware, Januar Hadi said, this assistance was given to foster sustainable economic development and improve the quality of life and a beneficial environment.

"We hope that later the use of the medical masks will be given to the Education group, especially teachers, considering that Face-to-Face Learning (PTM) has now begun," he said.

He hopes that this medical mask assistance can minimize the spread of the Corona Virus.

"Later on, the distribution of medical masks will be proportionally given by the City Government to be given to schools in the city of Bandung," he added.

Januar explained, this is the fourth time Ace Hardware Living Plaza Bandung has provided assistance related to CSR health protocols through the City Government for the purposes of Bandung City Community health protocols.(sya)*
