Once Collapsed Due to the Pandemic, MSMEs Rise Again with Dekranasda

To recover the economy, Dekranasda of Bandung City is to help MSMEs entrepreneurs.

Since 2018-2021, under the leadership of Siti Muntamah, Dekranasda successfully increased the income of MSMEs more than their target.

“Dekranasda facilitated entrepreneurs to promote their products. From 6 billion as the target, it has now reached 10 billion,” Siti said in the event called Pisah Sambut Ketua Dekranasda in El Royal Hotel on Wednesday, 2 March 2022.

For the next period, 2021-2023, the Head of Dekranasda is held by Yunimar Mulyana, the wife of the Acting Mayor of Bandung City, Yana Mulyana.

Siti added that she firmly believed the tasks to be given to Yunimar. She hoped that Dekranasda will facilitate and support the economic recovery of MSMEs.

“[From] years of collaboration with Mrs. Yuni, I am hopeful if she continues the tasks as the Head of Dekranasda. Hopefully, later on, there will be more programs to support the economic recovery of people,” she hoped.

Additionally, the recent Head of Dekranasda of Bandung City, Yunimar Mulyana, expressed her thanks to Siti Muntamah who has directed Dekranasda of Bandung City to become better.

“We highly appreciate Umi (Siti Muntamah) who has led Dekranasda of Bandung City to become more solid. Dekranasda supports UMKM of Bandung City,” she said.

The Head of Industry and Trade Agency of West Java, Iendra Sofyan, stated that activities and programs carried out by Dekranasda could recover the economy of West Java.
“Dekranasda helps craftsman to recover from the economy during the Covid-19 pandemic. It even makes the economic rate of West Java equal with the average of the nation,” Iendra said.

On the same occasion, according to the Assistance of the Economy and Development, Eric M. Attauriq, as the representative of the Acting Mayor of Bandung City, this event was not only a momentum for positional transfer.

“This momentum is not only for positional transfer, but also to transform knowledge from the previous leader to the new one. Hopefully, through this knowledge transformation, Mrs. Yunimar could help craftsman of Bandung City,” Eric said.

The appreciation for Dekranasda’s work is also felt by MSMEs of Bandung City. One of them was Nur Nurainingsih, a fashion craftsman.

She said that the training given by Dekranasda in the pandemic really helped MSMEs entrepreneurs in their desperate times.

“When entrepreneurs face their desperate times during the pandemic, Dekranasda held a training by inviting customers abroad. Moreover, we were facilitated with MoU with the best 10 MSMEs,” Nur said. (din)*
