The Bazar Ramadan showed 16 tenants and 36 MSMEs promoted by Rancasari Sub-district. The Bandung City government collaborated with Bulog of Bandung City, Pertamina, and modern retail stores.

Besides MSMEs, there were also modern retail stores that sold basic needs at affordable prices.

Several basic needs ranging from rice, sugar, chicken eggs, chicken meat, beef, cooking oil, flour, onion, garlic, portable gas (3 kg), and many more were sold in the bazar.

Additionally, this bazar also sold secondary products like fashion.

The Acting Mayor of Bandung City, Yana Mulyana, said that Bazar Ramadan was aimed at providing basic needs for residents of Bandung City at affordable prices.

“Hopefully, this could help people and hopefully we can hold this bazar in other areas,” Yana said, Wednesday, 31 March 2022.

The discounts of products in this bazar were also relatively huge. Starting from Rp15 thousand for packaged products.

“The discounts are also varied. All products are discounted,” Yana said.

Bazar Ramadan was held disciplinarily and complied with strict health protocols. Regarding that, the Head of Disdagin of Bandung City, Elly Wasliah, said that the bazar would be held in other areas in Bandung City.

“As per the instructions from the Acting Mayor of Bandung City, Disdagin was instructed to hold this bazar. Certainly, in other areas in Bandung City,” she said.
