“In the pandemic, I ask you to still comply with health protocols in your activities,” he said after Isya salat together in Al Latief Mosque, Sunday night, 3 April 2022.

“Tarawih is also allowed with Jemaah limit. So is it with the upcoming Eid Mubarak salat,” Yana said.

Yana expressed that the Covid-19 pandemic in Bandung City was relatively controlled. It was stated:

“The Covid-19 pandemic is relatively controlled. In the middle of February 2022, it reached 1.736 cases per day. However, in the last month (March), it is significantly (reduced) at 96 cases,” he said.

Concerning vaccination, he added that it had reached 113% for the first dose, 103% for the second dose, and 23% for the third dose.

“Hopefully, our efforts through vaccination can get better. We also perform vaccination to people with non-Bandung IDs whose activities are carried out in Bandung City,” he said.

Concerning activities during Ramadan, Yana said that there were still restrictions although some places were lightened. For example, only in this Ramadan (1 April – 4 May), drive thru service is allowed for 24 hours.

Convenience stores, on the other hand, are open from 08.00-21.00 WIB. However, touristic and recreational establishments are not allowed to open from 1 April – 4 May 2022.

Additionally, during Ramadan, civil servants are not allowed to hold or attend iftar-together, sahoor-together, and open house events. (yan)**
