Meeting with the Acting Mayor of Bandung City, Some Village Heads Confide
The Acting Mayor of Bandung City, Yana Mulyana, welcomed the Forum Lurah Kita Bandung in the City Hall of Bandung City, Wednesday, 6 April 2022. On that occasion, some village heads expressed their respective regional issues.
One key in work programs of the Bandung City Government is inseparable with collaboration of its village heads. They are the frontline of regional government.
It was stated by the Acting Mayor of Bandung City, Yana Mulyana, when welcoming Forum Lurah Kita Bandung in the City Hall, Wednesday 6 April 2022.
“The Bandung City Government realizes the importance of participations from various elements in developing Bandung City,” Yana said.
On that occasion, some village heads expressed their respective regional issues.
Irvan Alamsyah, the village head of Isola, Sukasari Sub-district, stated 2 issues in his region. They covered the lack of general functional manpower and operational vehicle. Since there will be a general election of 2024, it will require infrastructural and facility preparations.
“There are several wards who lost pick up cars. The general election, however, will require them to help distribute election box to the election place (TPS),” Irvan said.
On the other hand, the Village Head of Gumuruh, Nurma Safarini, said they required additional incentive for gober and linmas manpower.
“Since 2013, gober and linmas incentive is still the same whereas the manpower keeps increasing. So, we sometimes even pay them using village head’s salary,” Nurma said.
Additionally, Deden Mardeni as the Head of Cisaranten Bina Harapan, Arcamanik Sub-district, stated that they required more attention for purna bakti and a junior high school construction. (asy/syi-magang)**
