Persib and Persebaya One Group, Bandung City Ready to Welcome Bonek

Persib Bandung will compete in the Hell group with Persebaya Surabaya, Bali United, and Bhayangkara FC in the 2022 Presidential Cup. This means that the city of Bandung will be visited by Bonek, aka Persebaya supporters.

The supporters who are known for their militancy and loyalty in supporting their idol teams are certainly welcomed by the Government and the people of Bandung City. Moreover, Bonek also has an emotional closeness with the Bobotoh or Persib Bandung supporters.

This was conveyed by the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, after holding a coordination meeting with the police at Polrestabes Bandung.

"That was also one of the things that was discussed. Of course, we as Bandung people, we will prepare as much as we can (related to the arrival of Bonek to Bandung City)," Yana said, Friday, June 10, 2022.

There is a point at the GBLA Stadium which was prepared by the Bandung City Government and the ranks of the TNI and Police. One such spot is located in the blue parking area, GBLA Stadium.

Yana said the point was chosen because the infrastructure and land were adequate to accommodate the potential arrival of Bonek to Bandung City.

"Public kitchens are also prepared. We are assisted by the TNI-POLRI as well," said Yana.

For information, Persib will meet Persebaya in Group C of the 2022 President's Cup. The meeting between Persib and Persebaya is scheduled to take place on June 17, 2022. (ray)**
