Takziah to the House of the Dead Bobotoh, Yana: Euphoria Must Be Accompanied by Order

The Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, expressed his condolences for the death of the two men while watching the Persebaya Surabaya vs Persib Bandung match at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium on Friday, June 17, 2022.

On Saturday, June 28, 2022, Yana paid a pilgrimage to the house of Asep Ahmad Solihin (29) in TVRI Gang, Cibaduyut, Bandung City.

He hopes this incident will serve as a lesson. Yana said, on the other hand, this is euphoria because it has been more than two years that Bobotoh has not been able to watch his favorite team play live in Bandung.

"Let's pray for the deceased to die in a state of khusnul khotimah. Also pray that Persib can go through this pre-season competition well and become champions. So that it can be a gift for all,” said Yana.

Regarding the implementation of the next match at the GBLA Stadium, Yana said the Bandung City Government would fully follow the recommendations of the security forces and the readiness of the organizing committee.

He hopes that the euphoria of longing for Persib Bandung will be accompanied by mutual order. Bandung City Government will continue to evaluate this incident,

"It's euphoria, we understand that we haven't played in two years. Surely all of us, all of us, want to witness firsthand, but if we are orderly, obey the rules, are conducive, hopefully it will be better," he said.

Meanwhile, Ade Fahrudin Rozi as the representative of Asep Ahmad Solihin's family explained that he got the news of Ahmad's death on Friday, June 17 2022, at 23.00 WIB.

"We searched all of them to the hospital and got the news (died) at 1 pm. He said at Sartika Asih Hospital. After that, the whole family went there,” explained Ade.

He also explained that Asep was a true Bobotoh. When Persib's opening match in the 2022 Presidential Cup hosted Bali United, Ahmad also came to the stadium.

"He saved money to buy tickets to watch Persib," he said.

For information, Asep Ahmad Solihin's body was buried in the family cemetery at 09.00 WIB, only a few meters from the funeral home in TVRI Gang, Cibaduyut.

Besides Ahmad Solihin, the other victim was Yusup Sopiana. He is a boboh from Bogor.

Meanwhile, another victim is Sopiana Yusup. Sopiana's body reportedly just arrived at 11.30 WIB. There is no information regarding his funeral. (ray)**
