Two Holywings outlets in Bandung took the initiative to close their operations, Tuesday, June 28, 2022 night. The closure is done indefinitely.

The closure of Holywings' operations was carried out voluntarily and on its own initiative. On the other hand, the Bandung City Government has not taken any action.

Previously, the confirmation of the closure of the two Holywings outlets was conveyed directly by the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, at City Hall, Tuesday, June 28, 2022, in the evening.

Yana explained that the management are Bandung people who want to maintain conduciveness even though they don't have a promo (smells of SARA) in Bandung.

"But the impact is there. Finally, with their own awareness, they closed the Holywings business place," Yana explained.

The Bandung City Government's plan to evaluate Holywings' operations in Bandung, was ultimately canceled because the outlets were closed.

"If it's closed, it doesn't need to be evaluated anymore," said Yana.

Regarding the closing time limit, Yana admitted to an infinity limit.

Furthermore, the Bandung City Government will continue to monitor the activities of Holywings after the closure which was carried out tonight.

"I think he has closed himself, right, later we just have to make sure, later we will monitor each other if there is a possibility of opening it again. For now, let's see, with him there is good faith, we have to respect it," said Yana.

At the two Holywings locations, Erik, as a representative of Holywings management, confirmed that the closure of the two Holywings outlets in Bandung was an initiative and was carried out voluntarily by the management.

He also said that the closure of the two outlets was carried out within an undetermined deadline.

"We are the management of Holywings, essentially closing this place voluntarily, related to the condition of the city of Bandung to make it more conducive," said Erik.

Regarding the management's decision to revoke the Holywings logo, Erik said it was purely a management decision.

“From management. And even the former location of Holywings, don't know what it will be in the future," he added.

Likewise, regarding the fate of the employees at these two outlets, Erik said the management had not taken any steps. To note, there are around 100 employees at two Holywings outlets in Bandung.

“This happened so fast and we haven't thought that far (the fate of the employees). What is clear, we have not taken action (employees were laid off)," he said. (ray)**
