Accelerate Booster Vaccinations, Bandung City Government Collaborates with Campuses to Tourist Attractions
The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) has started accelerating the third dose or booster vaccination starting Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Until the end of August 2022. The target is for the booster vaccine to reach 50 percent.
In this vaccination, the Bandung City Government has targeted 976,179 targets. Each sub-district will receive 271 doses per day which will be sent to all sub-districts. So that one kelurahan is targeted to be able to vaccinate 54 doses per day.
Not only through kelurahan, Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), and regional leadership communication forums (forkopimda), but the Bandung City Government will also cooperate with schools and campuses in Bandung City to accelerate vaccination.
Several campuses that are implementing the target this time include Itenas, UPI, Unpad, Unpar, Unla, Unpas, Maranatha, and Unikom.
In addition, the vaccine post will also be present at several tourist locations and shopping centers, such as BIP, TSM, PVJ, Kiara Artha Park, Alun-alun, and Saung Udjo.
Based on data from the Bandung City Covid-19 Daily Task Force, the number of vaccination posts to be distributed is 190 posts. With details of the puskesmas as many as 80 posts, the Bandung City general hospital as many as 3 posts, private clinics 70 posts.
Then, there are 18 private hospitals, and 19 additional vaccine posts.
For the availability of types of vaccines in Bandung, including Astra Zeneca as many as 54 vials, Pfizer as many as 4,851 vials, and Sinovac 2 Dose as many as 322 vials.
For additional information, as of July 12, 2022, the achievement of vaccination in Bandung City for dose I was 113.90%. Then, the second dose reached 104.26 percent. Finally, dose III is 35.54 percent. (din)**
