Lively Bandung City Students Welcome the 2022/23 Academic Year

At this moment, Bandung City Public Relations attended the first day of school ceremony at SMP Negeri 38 Bandung. A total of 372 new students attended the ceremony, which was attended by senior supervisors from OSIS SMPN 38 Bandung, as well as teachers.

A 7F grader at SMPN 38 Bandung, Faras looks happy to be on his first day of school.

He admitted that at first he did not expect to be accepted at SMPN 38 Bandung. Faras said, attending a public school is also his dream.

The same thing was conveyed by Putra Dervish Pratama. This 7F class student also admitted that he was very enthusiastic about welcoming his first day of school.

Since yesterday, he has prepared all the equipment for the MPLS process for the 2022/23 Academic Year.

“I have prepared stationery and uniforms since yesterday. Exciting!" he said.

To the Public Relations of Bandung, Suratman., M.Pd as the Principal of SMPN 38, admitted that he had prepared optimally for the MPLS program at SMPN 38 Bandung for the 2022/23 Academic Year.

According to him, the MPLS concept at SMPN 38 Bandung should provide a pleasant experience for the students.

"We have prepared various things, starting from the infrastructure and materials provided so that the children really understand about the school," said Suratman.

He also explained that there are 372 new students at SMPN 38 Bandung, and a total of 1,078 students who attend school here.

Welcoming the new normal phase, SMPN 38 Bandung runs 100% face-to-face learning. A number of supporting facilities were maximized.

"Starting from the sink, we have maximized the student evacuation routes (checking temperature, washing hands and implementing health protocols while in the school environment," he said.

He hopes that face-to-face learning can continue, especially at SMPN 38 Bandung. Because, the formation of student character can be maximized through face-to-face learning.

"With direct interaction between teachers and students, character building will be carried out optimally," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Committee for SMPN 38 Bandung, Encep Suryana reminded parents of students to prepare their children for the 2022/23 Academic Year.
