Emphasize Booster, Yana: If We Go Down to PPKM Level 2, Everyone Will Lose
Booster or vaccine dose III which is currently being intensified by the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) has increased to 36 percent.
The target is that until the end of August 2022, dose III vaccine can reach a minimum of 50 percent.
"Through the latest mayoral regulation (perwal), we require people who want to come to public spaces to have booster vaccines," said Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
"Hopefully this can be an effort to increase vaccination by more than 50 percent until the end of August," he added.
He emphasized that the acceleration of the third dose of vaccine was an effort by the Bandung City Government to protect the public from exposure to Covid-19, which now has a new variant.
"Because if we go down to PPKM level 2, all parties will lose. The operating hours and capacity will also be reduced," he said.
