Targeted Zilenilal, DPPKB Bandung City Packs National Family Day Through Festival Events

Commemorating National Family Day, the Bandung City Population Control and Family Planning Agency (DPPKB) organized a series of events targeting mothers to millennials (generation Z or children born in 1996-2009).

One of them is with various festivals, such as screening of the film “Salah Who”, music, road shows, and short film competitions.

The chairman of the Bandung City DPPKB, Kenny Dewi Kaniasari, said that this also aims to achieve the Indonesia Gold 2045 program in the city of Bandung.

Thanks to the efforts made, the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) was ranked third nationally for the KB program of a million acceptors.

In addition, on the upcoming 23 July, DPPKB will hold the peak of the National Family Day at the City Hall Plaza with various events.

Among other things, the awarding of the best family planning village at the West Java level, family planning services, booster vaccines, an exhibition on efforts to increase family income for acceptors (UPPKA), a family baso festival, KK, KTP and KIA population administration services, as well as distribution of fish and vegetable seeds.

"This activity will last a long time until the end of November 2022 with various agendas. Because our target audience is indeed a lot of zilenials, therefore we have to pack it in more creative packaging. One of them is through K-pop and J-pop festivals," he explained.

In addition, DPPKB will also involve many communities. One of them is the film team from SMAN 25 Bandung.
