One of the areas in the middle of the city that connects Jalan Suniarja and Jalan Otista has been famous for a long time.

You can choose a variety of colors, models, and brands according to your taste without worrying about spending a lot of money.

One of the owners of street vendors named Berkah Lens, Astri Kartina admitted that the quality offered was in accordance with the standardization of classy optics.

"In us (street optics), although the price is much different from the big optics, the quality is very adjusted to what is sold there," he admitted to Public Relations of Bandung City, Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

Astri said that the traders here have their own warehouses to produce glasses according to the wishes of consumers.

"It has its own warehouse, even though we subscribe to the lenses with several large optics," he said.

To deal with the depletion of consumer spending, some street vendors provide free eye checks. Meanwhile, if consumers want to keep their eye checks at large optics, they usually only pay a fee of IDR 50,000.

“Previously we brought the glasses to be matched using the lenses. Is it normal, minus, or plus? After we have a benchmark, we can only have it checked using optical glasses, as is being checked for eyes in general,” he explained.

There are various contemporary eyeglass frames with varied materials. The price is also priced from Rp. 60,000 to Rp. 300,000 according to the quality.

Also, they are sold from IDR 90,000 to IDR 400,000 according to the size of the lens. In addition, it is also adjusted to the type of lens.

One of the buyers, Rita Rosita, admitted that she had been buying glasses for a long time at Jalan ABC.

“Since I was in junior high school, I once bought glasses at big optics. However, when I was in grade 2 of junior high school, my late father asked me to buy glasses on Jalan ABC. The quality is the same, nothing is different," he admitted.

In addition, he feels that in this street optics the frame is more varied and contemporary.

"I don't know if it's true or coincidental, I think here the frame is more contemporary. All colors and shapes are complete, most importantly the price is negotiable,” he admitted. (Sherly Putri)**
