Yana: Third Dose Vaccine Available
The City Government (Pemkot) of Bandung continues to accelerate for the third dose of vaccination (Booster). This is to minimize the spread of COVID-19, so that people have good antibodies by vaccinating them.
"We continue to accelerate the third dose, so that we can continue to reduce the number of COVID-19 in the city of Bandung. The trend is still volatile, tends to decrease compared to a few days ago," said Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana at the Pendopo, Saturday, August 6, 2022.
For the 50 percent target at the end of August, Yana is optimistic that it can be achieved. Because the implementation of mass vaccination continues to be carried out in the city of Bandung.
"Hopefully, I can see that this mass vaccination is quite massive. God willing, there will be enough vaccine," he said.
For information, the Bandung City Government continues to accelerate the process of vaccination for dose III or booster 1. The total achievement of the booster vaccination for the City of Bandung until August 4, 2022 reached 764,772 targets or a percentage of 39.17 percent.
Head of the Bandung City Covid-19 Daily Task Force (Satgas), Asep Gufron said, to pursue the remaining 50 percent target by the end of August, each kelurahan is advised to vaccinate as many as 54 targets every day.
