Intensifying iProud, DPPKB Realizes Quality Bandung City Families
To create quality families in the city of Bandung, the Bandung City Family Planning Population Control Service (DPPKB) socialized the Family Development Index (iBangga) on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
Head of Bandung City DPPKB, Dewi Kaniasari said, iBangga is a measurement of family quality which is aimed at three dimensions.
"That is the dimensions of peace, independence, and family happiness, and describes the role and function of the family for all Indonesian people," said Dewi.
He continued, to realize iBangga, it is necessary to foster family resilience and welfare. From the results of the coaching, the policy makers can formulate what long-term programs are right for the welfare of the community.
"iBangga is strategic data as a measure of the Government's performance. iBangga can be the basis for stakeholders and policy makers in formulating policies, programs, or activities," he said.
"iProud can even determine the ranking or level of family development in a region," he added.
According to him, through development, it is possible to realize family differentiation, so that families are able to carry out their functions optimally.
"The purpose of family development is to improve the quality of the family so that it can fulfill a sense of security, peace, and achieve a better future in realizing physical prosperity and inner peace," he explained.
Some family functions that must be achieved optimally in each family include religious, social and cultural functions, love, protection, and reproduction.
"Not to forget the function of socialization and education. Then the function of the economy and the function of environmental development. This is also important to be applied in every family," he said. (din)**
