One of the influencers is Putri Nabila. He is an influencer representing Sukajadi District.

This student from one of the universities in Bandung admitted that she was very happy to be able to contribute to her environment.

According to him, young people are very vulnerable to contracting HIV/AIDS. One of the reasons is the lack of knowledge of young people about HIV/AIDS.

"We share with each other explaining about HIV/AIDS. So that the transmission of HIV/AIDS in Bandung City can be suppressed," he said at a routine meeting of Bandung City KPA Influencers at the Bandung City Hall, Saturday, October 8, 2022.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Bandung City PKK TP, Yunimar Mulyana, said that creative ways were needed to educate the public.

Through influencers, Yunimar said, knowledge about HIV/AIDS can be more effective if conveyed by their peer group.

"Influencers who care about AIDS are a group of young people who have concern and desire to contribute to HIV/AIDS prevention and control efforts," he said.

"They are able to become role models for their peer group to be able to disseminate information and education about HIV/AIDS," added Yuni.

Yunimar admits that public knowledge and understanding of the HIV/AIDS issue is still not evenly distributed. There is some stigma and discrimination on the issue of HIV/AIDS.

Therefore, he hopes, influencers are able to increase the understanding of knowledge and awareness of youth in the city of Bandung on the issue of HIV/AIDS. (yes)**
