Mother of PAUD Bandung City Wins National Level Award
The Bandung City Government has again received a national level appreciation. This time the appreciation was received by the Bandung City Government through the figure of the Bandung City PAUD Mother for the 2018-2021 Period, Siti Muntamah Oded. The award given is the Widya Dharma Madya Predicate.
Not only Siti Muntamah, Mother of PAUD, Cibeunying Kidul District, Aneu Susimi also won an award with the Predicate of Exemplary 1.
The award was given directly by the Director of Early Childhood Education, Komalasari who was accompanied by the Head of the West Java Education Office, Dedi Supandi to Siti Muntamah in the West Hall of Gedung Sate Jalan Diponegoro, Tuesday 11 October 2022.
"Alhamdulillah, of course this is very proud and happy.
We hope that stimulation, investment in education, especially PAUD will be an important factor to compete in the era of globalization. Each region is required to be able to provide quality PAUD education services," said Siti Muntamah after receiving the award.
Umi, who is Siti Muntamah's best friend, entrusts the sustainability of the program that has been initiated together.
"This program will continue. Mothers of Early Childhood Education at the sub-district and kelurahan levels continue to be formed," he said.
In line with Umi, the Bandung City PAUD Mother for the 2021 -2023 Period Yunimar Yana Mulyana said that one of the stakeholders who is seen as having a strategic role in creating quality PAUD services is the PAUD Mother.
"PAUD mothers are the main movers in fostering educational services for early childhood (0-6 years) in their respective regions, in order to support the realization of quality PAUD services," Yuni explained.
So far, rich Yunimar, his party continues to socialize PAUD to the sub-district and village levels. Not only that, the role of PAUD Mothers at the sub-district and kelurahan levels also helps provide quality services.
"The mothers of PAUD sub-districts and sub-districts are expected to actively involve mothers. Given their very important role in educating early childhood and maintaining the health of their children," he said.
