Yana Welcomes Indovac Vaccine Enthusiasm
The Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, enthusiastically welcomed the presence of a domestically produced vaccine, Indovac. Moreover, Indovac is a product of PT Bio Farma which is located in the city of Bandung.
When asked about vaccination, the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, said that he would wait for the new dose, namely Indovac.
He hopes that this latest vaccine will become a priority vaccine in Indonesia.
"Hopefully, Indovac is a priority. This vaccine is prepared for the next stage of vaccination," Yana said, Friday, October 14, 2022.
However, Yana understands that the distribution of the Indovac vaccine is not only for the city of Bandung.
Even though PT Bio Farma is located in the city of Bandung, the distribution process is still from the center, the new province to the regions.
"Although Biofarma in Bandung City must have started it through the Ministry of Health. Distribution through the new province to us. Yesterday at the event, 20 million vaccines were delivered in 1 year, covering the need for booster 1 and booster 2," he said.
