The Public Test was attended directly by the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana and 10 elements of the community consisting of KPJ, HMI, GMKI, GMNI, KPR NGOs, JPK NGOs, Mrs. Elly Harliani, City Hall reporters, Friends of Public Relations and Media

The city of Bandung is included in the category of Informative Regency/City Public Agency.

"We held a public test, the city of Bandung is one of the public bodies which in monitoring and evaluation has the highest predicate, namely informative," said Dadan.

Dadan said that the public test process is the last phase to ensure that the previously obtained quantitative values are qualitatively appropriate values.

"Our electronic monitoring and evaluation is carried out through a process of independent filling, verification, then visitation and now a public test," he said.

"So, in fact, 6 regencies and cities quantitatively have been great from 5 variables from PPID, public information standards, the obligation to provide information at any time, periodically and immediately," he added.

"I see the results of the public test this time, qualitatively it is not too far away. So the value is indeed sufficient and very feasible for the City of Bandung," he said.

For this, the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana said, with this assessment, PPID Bandung City could improve itself and continue to improve services to the community.

According to Yana, meeting the public's need for public information is part of the effort to realize good governance, namely a government that prioritizes the principles of accountability, transparency, and community participation.

He revealed, to measure the performance of PPID, of course there must be monitoring and evaluation.

"I am very grateful that the information commission made a field visit to the Bandung City Government, to verify the implementation of the Public Information Openness Act," he said.

According to him, the public's need for information is increasing day by day, so it must be followed by professional information services from the government, in this case PPID.

For this reason, PPID must master a lot of information about government activities, development, and public services in order to serve requests for information from the public.

"God willing, the Bandung City Government has also regularly fostered PPID so that it can adapt to the demands of the community," he said.

"For example, participating in various workshops on a regular basis in line with the development of service channels to the community," he added.

Meanwhile, the Sub-Coordinator for Public Information Disclosure of the Bandung City Communication and Information Office, Yusuf Cahyadi, said that until now the Bandung City PPID already has a structure up to the PPID sub-PPID in the Education Satker.

"We have an innovation to make sub PPID up to the elementary and junior high school level, in the future we plan to form it to the Puskesmas," he said.

In addition, there is also an independent monitoring and evaluation activity that is carried out every two years to find out the extent of the implementation of public information disclosure in the auxiliary PPID and Sub PPID Assistant.

"The monitoring and evaluation program for public information disclosure is every 2 years, which department obeys the Law on Public Information Disclosure," he said.

Not only that, Bandung City PPID also has an information service desk at the Public Service Mall (MPP).

"We join MPP, for one-stop and disability-friendly information services," he said. (rob)**
