A total of 20 booths from all retail stores, Bulog, and other distributors including KOPTI will be present.

Head of the Bandung City Trade and Industry Service (Disdagin), Elly Wasliah, said that this Cheap Market was a directive from the Mayor of Bandung as one of a series of HJKB212 events.

"This is one of the directions from the Mayor of Bandung to provide a cheap market at the closing ceremony of HJKB212.
This Cheap Market will start from 09.00-15.00 WIB," said Elly, Friday, October 28, 2022.

The commodities sold are still the same, namely eggs, rice, sugar, garlic, shallots, cooking oil, and several other household needs such as soap.

"There will also be Kopti (Indonesian Tofu and Tempe Cooperative). So, for residents who need tofu, tempeh, or other food ingredients, let's go shopping at the Cheap Market tomorrow," he said.

Previously, through the Cheap Market which took place from September 19 to October 10, 2022, sales reached Rp932 million.

The Cheap Market is considered very helpful because it sells various commodities at lower prices than the market.

"This is our effort in anticipating inflation. Previously, 30 sub-districts had been held Cheap Markets. Tomorrow there will be another bigger one," he added. (din)**
