AHI 2022: Yana Mulyana, Most Popular Mayor!

The city of Bandung won four awards at the 2022 Indonesian Public Relations Award (AHI) which was held at the Atria Hotel, Malang, Friday, October 28, 2022.

The four awards are for the category of Most Popular Leader in Digital Media, Sub-Category of Mayor, category of Most Popular Institution in Digital Media, Sub-category of City Government, silver winner in the category of Internal Media, sub-category of Profile video, and Bronze winner for Public Information Services, Sub-category of Public Information Service Reports.

For a number of awards received by the City of Bandung, Head of the Bandung City Communication and Information Office (Diskominfo), Yayan A. Brilyana admitted that he was quite grateful.

The reason is, even though Diskominfo Bandung has not managed public relations for a year, it has received appreciation from other parties.

"This certainly makes you motivated to be able to work better," he said.

This year, AHI carries the big theme “Innovation of Public Information Openness for Advanced Indonesia”.

AHI is a competition for the performance of communication and information disclosure of public institutions at the level of ministries, institutions, local governments, State Universities (PTN), BUMN, subsidiaries of BUMN, and BUMD throughout Indonesia.

At AHI 2022, public agency innovation is one of the assessment indicators sought by the judges.

Please note, to determine the winner, AHI 2022 has gone through a judging process by 11 judges. Consists of five judges for the presentation round and six judges for the non-presentation round.

They include Asmono Wikan (CEO of Indonesian Public Relations), Emilia Bassar (CEO of CPROCOM), Fardila Astari (Director of Communications of the Rajawali Foundation), Arif Adi Kuswardono (former Commissioner of the Central Information Commission), Janette Maria Pinariya (Vice Chancellor I LSPR), Agus Sudibyo (former Member of the Press Council).**
