Official! Alma and Syena become fathers of Jajaka 2022
Alma Khazna and M. Syena Damayana were chosen to be the Mojang and Jajaka of Bandung City 2022 at the 2022 Grand Final of Pasanggri Mojang Jajaka at Hotel Savoy Homan, Friday, October 28, 2022 night.
Syena and Alma set aside 24 other Mojang jajaka Finalists after going through a series of selections from hundreds of other participants.
For the second election, the Secretary of the City of Bandung, Ema Sumarna, advised that the elected father would be able to bring a good name and positive influence.
In particular, it can promote tourism and culture of the city of Bandung.
"The finalists who appear are selected people because they have gone through various stages of selection from administration, written tests, competency tests, photo sessions, and others," said Ema.
Not only that, Ema advised, father jajaka became a role model for the youth of the city of Bandung. Mojang jajaka should be able to become an ambassador for art, culture, and tourism.
"I really hope that my children who become Moka Pinilih will become 'role models', examples for young people in the City of Bandung. Moka Chosen must be Sundanese nonoman who have a kisunda identity," he said.
In line with Ema, Head of the Bandung City Tourism Office, Arief Prasetya said, Pasanggiri Mojang Jajaka was held to provide encouragement to the community, especially young people in Bandung City to always maintain their identity as Sundanese people.
So that young people and women are competitive and can adapt to the times in the midst of globalization that is increasingly rampant and unstoppable.
"We invite the younger generation to see and appreciate further the intricacies of the history, culture, and tourism of the city of Bandung. The corners of the museum are not only a place for sightseeing, but there are many valuable stories and history in it," said Arief.
