Bandung Kidul sub-district has various innovations in an effort to realize a religious Bandung, starting from the Qur'an Village, Cinta Labil (Love for toddlers, elderly, disabled), Sodakoh movement a thousand a day (Gesoseri), Sodakoh of a thousand (Serbu) and others.

The Head of Bandung Kidul Sub-district, Budhi Rukmana said, in Bandung Kidul Sub-district there are still many lower middle class people who need assistance. From there, he and his team launched various programs to help.

"They need all of our attention, we are the One thousand daily Sodakoh Movement (Gesoseri) in the Kujangsari sub-district, one thousand alms a day in the Wates sub-district within the PKK scope," he said when he became a resource person for the Ngariung Regional Potential Podcast in Bandung Kidul District, the middle of this week.

In addition, Bandung Kidul District has also recently launched the Cinta Labil program (Love for toddlers, elderly, disabled).

The Cinta Labil program was created as a medium for shodaqoh for ASN & non-ASN, the results of which will be distributed to parents, toddlers to support children's nutrition to avoid the potential for stunting.

As well as to the elderly who have economic limitations, and also to people with disabilities.

"This comes from our love for ASN and Non ASN to them. We need funds, the money is from ASN and Non ASN Sub-districts to give sodakoh to them. We prioritize those outside DTKS," he said.

He hopes that this habit of giving charity can be widespread and applied every day in the community.

"Hopefully we care about the community, invite other stakeholders who have excess sustenance to help the underprivileged," he said.

In Bandung Kidul District, a Qur'anic village has also been established in Kujangsari Village.

Kujangsari Village Head, Yunika Wihastini said the formation of the Qur'an Village was based on the fact that there were still many people who were not fluent or even literate in the Koran.

"People do not understand the contents of the Koran as a way of life. There are even people with short mindsets who are heavily in debt for suicide," he said.

"We form it to deal with this problem. If you understand the Koran, life is better," he added.

This Qur'an village also aims to reduce the level of illiteracy of the Qur'an. This village was formed in 2021 and was inaugurated in December 2021.

"The teachers are volunteers and residents. The place to recite the Koran is at the residents' homes every day. In 2021 we will launch it in RW 6 Kujangsari," he said.

He said that with the existence of the Qur'an Village, it is hoped that the community will get many positive things, such as strengthening ties of friendship, sharing religious knowledge with each other.

"Hopefully with this village the community can better understand and practice the values of the Koran in their lives," he said. (rob)**
