For the sake of humanity, DWP Bandung City Donated 250 more Blood Bags.
A total of 250 people took part in the blood donation held by Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) at the PMI Bandung City Office, Jalan Aceh, Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
This activity is one of a series of commemorations of the 23rd Anniversary of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP), which is commemorated every December 7
According to the Head of Bandung City DWP, Cici Ema Sumarna, this blood donation activity aims to help the general public in need of blood.
"From the data collected, there are 250 Dwp members who will donate their blood. Hopefully it will continue to grow. We aim for people in need," explained Cici after opening the blood donation activity.
For this reason, Cici also invites the whole community, especially the wives of the Bandung City Government ASN (Pemkot) to participate in blood donation activities.
"According to PMI data for the city of Bandung, around 500 blood bag flasks are needed every day. For this reason, this assistance will be very meaningful," he said.
"I also invite other DPW members to participate. One drop of blood means a lot to those in need," added Cici.
In addition to Blood Donation Activities, the Bandung City DWP plans to hold social services, cheap market bazaars, and other charitable activities. (sya)**
