Police Investigate Cause of Bappelitbang Building Fire in Bandung
The Bandung Police Resort (Polrestabes) will investigate the cause of the fire at the Bappelitbang Building in the Bandung City Hall area, Monday, November 7, 2022.
Bandung Police Chief Kombes Pol Aswin Sipayung admitted that he could not yet state the cause of the fire. Currently, his party will first explore the cause of the fire at Bandung City Hall.
According to Aswin, there will be an examination by the Forensic Laboratory to determine the exact cause of this fire.
"Later, the Forensic Laboratory will find out the cause of the fire," he said.
For this reason, Aswin admitted that his party is currently examining several people related to this fire. Later, the results of the examination of some of these people will be part of the TKP.
"Yes, as usual, we process the crime scene and we will check several people or many people around the crime scene," said Aswin at Bandung City Hall.
Previously, the Bandung City Bappelitbang Building experienced a fire today at around 10.30 WIB.
The Bandung City Fire and Disaster Management Agency deployed 16 firefighters.
Currently, the fire is under control and is in the cooling stage to prevent the fire from re-emerging. (rob)**
