Series of Mother's Day, Bandung City PKK Holds Blood Donation
Commemorating Mother's Day in December, the PKK Mobilization Team is holding various series of events. One of them was blood donation and provision of basic necessities at the Bandung City PKK Building, Saturday 19 November 2022.
The head of the Bandung City TP PKK, Yunimar Mulyana said that the target for blood donors this time was 150 pumpkins.
"The target is 150 pumpkins. There are up to 200 registrants, but we limit it because the situation is still a pandemic," said Yunimar.
He explained, previously the TP PKK had also held the first blood donation reaching 164 pumpkins.
"This is not the first time, Pokja IV has previously held a blood donor. This activity is also to assist PMI in providing blood stock in the city of Bandung," he said.
He added, in the future there will be various competition activities, then the peak will be on December 22.
"We are also collaborating with DP3A (Bandung City Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service) for the highlight of Mother's Day. In addition, together with the Bandung City Baznas, we provide basic necessities to those who qualify as blood donors," he said.
Not only that, applicants who have not passed blood donors will receive family medicinal plants (toga) from the Bandung City Food and Agriculture Security Service (DKPP).
"All sorts of things, there are roselle, ginger, chilies, earlier there were also eggplant and tomato plants. We also need to appreciate them, they have contributed to PMI," he said. (din)**
