He conveyed this during a field visit on Jalan Sukajadi, Bandung City.

"We will handle and organize street vendors in the Jalan Sukajadi area. Besides that, it is also in the Hasan Sadikin Hospital area," he said when giving directions

Ema explained that the arrangement in the Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) area was also waiting for collaboration with the hospital to determine the location for the transfer of street vendors, especially those on the west side (Simple Road access) and also Hospital Road.

"Please sir, head of the KUKM Service to coordinate with the hospital, hopefully in the near future the land for arranging street vendors on this road section (Simple Road canal) will be clear," Ema ordered.

Furthermore, if it has been arranged, Ema advised that there will be no tolerance for street vendors in areas that have been declared red zones.

This also applies along Jalan Sukajadi, which is declared a red zone for street vendors.

“It is not permissible, for any reason, that location to be used for trading. Its importance is for traffic lanes, the sidewalks are used as a place for pedestrians to walk," he said.

Currently, for the time being, Ema has asked for a street vendor management system in the area by setting time limits. This means that street vendors in the Jalan Sukajadi area are allowed to continue trading, but are not allowed to leave their trading equipment on site.

"Again, this is temporary," he said.

Regarding the arrangement of street vendors, Ema explained, the Bandung City Government had no intention of shutting down community businesses. This is so that the city of Bandung becomes a comfortable city and can be enjoyed by all parties, both the people and the tourists who come.

"We want to restore the old history of Jalan Sukajadi as a beautiful, clean and comfortable road. We bring this convenience because the city of Bandung is not only enjoyed by us, but also by guests who come to visit Bandung," said Ema.

In addition to the Jalan Sukajadi area, the Bandung City Government also organizes street vendors in several areas such as the Cihampelas Terrace Area, Gasibu Field, Cicadas, and Bandung Square. (ray)**
