Help Revive the Economy, Bandung City Government Gives TJSL Award to 12 Companies
The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) gives awards to BUMD, BUMN and private companies which are considered committed to encouraging the economic and social empowerment of the people of Bandung City.
The Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, gave this award to 12 companies at the 2022 TJSL (Environmental Social Responsibility) Award at the Grandia Hotel, Tuesday 29 November 2022.

Including Bank BJB, Pindad Persero, PT Angkasa Pura 2 Persero, Yogya Group, Wings Group, PT Pegadaian Persero, and Bank Mayapada (sustainability category).
"Bandung is a very unique city, with a population of 3.7 million during the day, 2.5 million at night. There are 1.2 million residents outside the city of Bandung who are active in the city of Bandung," Yana said on the sidelines of the award ceremony .
"So the complexity of the problems in the city of Bandung is also extraordinary. It takes contribution from all sectors to jointly develop and solve the problems of the city of Bandung," added Yana.
For this reason, Yana thanked the companies in the city of Bandung for consistently providing TJSL through collaboration with the Bandung city government, especially in alleviating the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Thank you for the collaboration in alleviating the Covid-19 pandemic. The vaccination process that is assisted by ladies and gentlemen, various other TJSL programs, has really helped the government. So that the Covid 19 pandemic is relatively under control at the moment," he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Bandung City TJSL Forum, Binsar Parasian Naipospos said that the effort to prepare a collaboration-based program work plan could be realized through synchronizing the city development program with the company's TJSL.
"The TJSL Forum was formed so that the business world and society can live side by side, carry out activities and help each other," he said.
He added, Bandung City Regional Regulation number 13 of 2012 concerning the implementation of TJSL program obligations.
This, continued Binsar, mandated that the city government not carry out the development program alone, but that the financing could be obtained from company funds through CSR.
"Hopefully this forum will produce better collaboration-based synergy in the future," he said.
The TJSL award for 2022 is divided into two categories, namely the TJSL Value Category and the Sustainability Category. The TJSL Award event this time carries the theme "Rising Together for Bandung to Champion". (sya)**
