The General Chairperson of the Bandung City FBS, Yunimar Mulyana hopes that through this activity the regional supervisors can provide the data needed for an assessment of a Healthy City.

"Next year we will be assessed for a Healthy City. The hope is that the City of Bandung can have an ODF of 100 percent, but a minimum of 80 percent ODF. The data we need is prepared now," said Yunimar.

To note, currently the ODF rate in the city of Bandung has reached 62 percent. The Bandung City Government is targeting 58 urban villages to achieve 100 percent ODF by 2023.

According to Yunimar, Bandung City FBS is ready to guide the sub-district if there are any obstacles.

"We had received reports that there were areas that did not give permission to use communal septic tank land. Later we will approach it with the relevant agencies if necessary," he said.

He said that the OPD in the city of Bandung must also support the city of Bandung as a healthy city for the convenience of the common people.

"In order for us to be comfortable living in it, we can work together to achieve monev (monitoring and evaluation) on 13-26 December 2022," he added.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive of FBS, dr. Rita Verita said, over the next two weeks the FBS team will go down to 58 sub-districts that are not yet ODF with the Healthy District Forum advisory team.

"Hopefully in this activity we can get the actions that must be taken to achieve 100 percent ODF and Bandung is healthy. We will collect together preparatory data in each sub-district to get to 100 percent ODF," said Rita.

Because said Rita, ODF is an important indicator to achieve a Healthy City. The minimum score is 80 percent to be verified at the Swasti Saba Padapa level (Healthy City award from the Ministry of Health).

About 90 percent to be verified by Swasti Saba Wiwerda (coaching). Then 100 percent to be verified by Swasti Sabha Wistara (development). (din)**
