Bandung City DPRD Approves Raperda Regarding Buildings

The Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, welcomed the Decision Making on the Bandung City Raperda on Buildings positively.

He hopes that the approval of the Raperda to become a Perda can have a positive impact, especially for the people of Bandung City.

"Alhamdulillah, the Raperda on buildings has been agreed upon to become a Perda. Hopefully this can be a positive benefit for the city of Bandung," said Yana after the Plenary Meeting.

Previously, the Chairperson of the Special Committee 10, Juniarso Ridwan, in an official statement from the Bandung City DPRD, said that legally speaking the discussion of the Raperda on Buildings conforms to Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation and Government Regulation Number 16 of 2021 Number 2020.

"Because the purpose of establishing the Job Creation Law is to provide as much convenience as possible for the community in processing all forms of government services," said Yana.

"Including with regard to licensing services, this Raperda must be made simple and easy to understand, so it will not confuse the public," he added.

According to him, this Raperda must provide efforts to accelerate the service process, because the community wants a service process that makes it easier. So that people are excited to take care of building permits.

"The purpose of this Raperda is not only to be understood by the public, but also to provide convenience, speed, and cost reductions in the building permit processing service process," he said. (ray)**
