Yana Asks TP PKK to Help Food Security, Stunting, and Immunization Month
The Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana emphasized that the role of community organizations in empowering families is very important. With their active role, the government will experience the convenience of carrying out various development programs.
This was conveyed by Yana at the Coordination Meeting of the Bandung City Empowerment and Family Welfare Mobilization Team (TP PKK), at the Graha Binangkit Building, Monday 5 December 2022.
According to him, the PKK has an important role in development with various innovations and activities carried out through family participation and empowerment.
"PKK can help empower and improve the quality of women. This includes alleviating stunting and holding the National Childhood Immunization Month (BIAN)," explained Yana who is also the Chairperson of the Bandung City TP PKK Trustees.
Yana also asked the PKK to help food security through various programs.
Like the case, Fish Culture in Buckets (Budikdamber) to Buruan Sae. He emphasized food security during the Covid-19 pandemic to be the main thing.
"In the future, we will just have to recover the economy together. So that in 2023 it is predicted that there will be a recession crisis or whatever, hopefully this will not happen in the city of Bandung and we can overcome it together," he said.
In the same place, the Chairperson of the Bandung City TP PKK, Yunimar Mulyana said, the coordination meeting was aimed at evaluating the 2022 TP PKK program activities as well as presenting the results of the PKK national work meeting which was held last month.
"We will evaluate the activities of the TP PKK program in 2022 what the obstacles are. We will evaluate. Of course this discusses the program to be implemented in 2023," he said.
Yunimar added, the coordination of Pentahelix, such as PMI, Baznas, BNN and other agencies is continuously being explored so that the TP PKK synergy continues.
"We will continue to explore the collaboration between Pentahelix and CSR to make the TP PKK program successful in 2023," he said.
He hopes, as a family food security, the Budikdamber Program for the Bandung Tanginas family will run well.
"We entrust Budikdamber to Bandung Tanginas, please monitor so that the Tanginas Family is provided with assistance for good results. So that 3 months for the main harvest for economically empowered Tanginas families," explained Yunimar.
Yunimar also hopes that the Dashat Kitchen (Healthy Overcoming Stunting) can be practiced at Posyandu, so that families can duplicate healthy food for their children.
