The award was given directly by the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana at the Horison Hotel, Monday 5 December 2022.

Yana expressed her deepest gratitude and appreciation to the athletes from the City of Bandung who succeeded in achieving achievements that made the City of Bandung proud.

According to him, all sports people who have competed to make Bandung City proud have become the pride of the whole community.

"Thank you to the Bandung City athletes, the champions. The people of Bandung are proud of you," said Yana.

Regardless of the results achieved at the event, Yana believes all athletes have given their best on the field.

"The results are numbered, but sportsmanship is the main thing. I prefer to talk about coaching athletes in the city of Bandung," said Yana.

He also advised that this award be delivered directly to the athletes after this event.

"The kadeudeuh money was conveyed through BJB. That number was already clear. The tax has been paid by the Bandung City Government. I ask that tomorrow, if the administrative requirements (the athletes) are complete, this kadeudeuh has reached the accounts of my (athletes) friends," Yana ordered.
