Road To Hakordia 2022, Bandung City Government Continues to Improve Corruption-Free Public Services

The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) continues to encourage the improvement of corruption-free public services by implementing effective, efficient and accountable governance.

This was emphasized by the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana while attending the 2022 Road To Commemoration of World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) Directorate of Coordination and Supervision Region II which was held by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in the West Hall, Gedung Sate Bandung, Tuesday 6 December 2022.

"Alhamdulillah, so far we have continued to push for effective, efficient and accountable government management," said Yana.

Yana said that various efforts by the Bandung City Government to prevent corruption have been appreciated by various parties. One of them was from the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) by giving Unqualified Opinion (WTP) for four consecutive years from 2018-2022.

"Hopefully we can carry out this spirit as well as possible by all employees at the Bandung City Government," he said.

Until now, the City of Bandung has had various electronic-based applications as an effort to prevent corruption, including Hayu Bandung, website dpmtsp.bandung.go.id, Si Petruk, Salaman (Finished in the Hand).

Then there is, E-Satria (Electronic Self Assessment Tax Reporting Application), Payment of PBB (Land and Building Tax) with QRIS.

In addition, there is also an Online New Student Acceptance Implementation System (PPDB), National Public Service Complaint Management System - People's Online Aspirations and Complaint Services (SP4N LAPOR!).

Furthermore, PPID (Information and Documentation Management Officer) Bandung City, Simdek (Crane Information System), New Bimma (Bandung Integrated Manpower Management Application), Mang Bagja (Bandung Performance Management), UHC (Universal Health Coverage), The Tooth Fairy, and Eska.

"In principle, how do we improve services to the community and minimize interaction between service providers and the people who get services through the development of digitalization," he said

"Hopefully this anti-corruption spirit can be carried out by the Bandung City Government," he added.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the KPK, Johanis Tanak said, in an effort to prevent it, the Corruption Eradication Commission encourages the creation of "Clean and Good Governance" governance and corporate governance.

"Through a series of system improvements based on recommendations from studies on improving governance, as well as planning corrective actions by coordinating," he said.

According to Johanis, various efforts must be made to prevent corruption. Among them are maximizing system capabilities to internal resources, optimizing internal and external supervision, strengthening outreach, and anti-corruption campaigns.
