The Bandung City Department of Transportation (Dishub) initiated an innovative non-cash payment for towing fines for illegal parking violators. This innovation can make it easier for people who are subject to illegal parking fines to pay towing fines.

Head of the Transportation Control and Order Division (PDKT) for the Bandung City Transportation Service (Dishub), Asep Kuswara said, technically when they are hit by illegal parking, people can come to the Bandung City Transportation Office at the Leuwipanjang Terminal.

There, the public can make payment of fees in accordance with regional regulations no. 3 of 2020 at the counter with non-cash payment options.

"The thing that differentiates it from conventional payment methods is that transactions are safer, faster and easier because violators don't need to carry cash," said Asep when contacted by Bandung City Public Relations, Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

Asep explained, non-cash payments for crane fees can be made through various digital payment services such as QRIS, OVO, or Go-Pay.

He said, the presence of this innovation is so that people can make payments efficiently, quickly, no longer need to come with cash, and minimize potential negatives such as the spread of counterfeit money or fraud.

"In addition, it is also to avoid illegal levies (pungli)," he said.

Asep hopes that this innovation can be accepted and makes it easier for people to make transactions.

However, he also appealed to the people of the city of Bandung to always obey the rules and not violate the prohibition signs in the city of Bandung. So no need to pay a fine. (ray)**
