n her speech, Yana hoped that the Sinpasa Modern Market could become a model for traditional markets in the city of Bandung. Currently there are 37 traditional markets in the city of Bandung.

"We encourage traditional markets to organize themselves so that they can be clean and comfortable and God willing, traders and buyers will feel comfortable," said Yana.

“There are 37 traditional markets that require a touch of management. So that it becomes a safe and comfortable space for traders and buyers," he added.

He also hopes that the presence of the Sinpasa Modern Market can support economic growth in the city of Bandung after the Covid-19 pandemic.

In line with Yana, the Chairperson of the Bandung City DPRD Tedy Rusmawan encouraged the presence of the Sinpasa Modern Market as a model for traditional markets in the City of Bandung.

"We, from the DPRD of Bandung City, appreciate it (regarding the operation of the Sinpasa Modern Market). Let's welcome the economic recovery of the city of Bandung from the private sector to the community," said Tedy.

Meanwhile, Summarecon's Executive Director, Hindarko Hasan explained, Sinpasa Modern Market in Bandung City followed several previous points, namely in Gading Serpong and Bekasi.

The Sinpasa Modern Market in Summarecon departs from the community's need for a clean, comfortable and bright market concept.

"We are trying to provide a place for doing business, so of course we will experience lots of tenants and shops serving products that are the pride of the city of Bandung," he said.

Sinpansa Modern Market is open every day from 06.00 to around 12.00-13.00 WIB. In total there are 140 tenants present at the Sinpasa Modern Market.

As many as 70 of them were from Bandung City SMEs, 46 from the Bandung City Dekranasda, and 24 from the Bandung City Trade and Industry Office.

Apart from food staples, there are also superior products from the Bandung City Dekranasda such as fashion and crafts.

Out of a total of around 1,900 square meters of market building area, there is a corner space of around 400 square meters which is the Bandung City Dekranasda Gallery.

In more detail, Hindarko explained, product prices at Sinpasa Modern Market were relatively competitive with other markets. This market can be accessed by the general public, not only people who live in Summarecon Bandung.

"We thank the Mayor and the ranks of the Bandung City Government for inaugurating the Sinpasa Modern Market. We feel cared for. Hopefully this can be part of the economic recovery in the city of Bandung," hoped Hindarko. (ray)**
