Yana did not forbid residents from celebrating New Year's Eve. But he asked people not to celebrate too much.

"Of course, residents who want to celebrate the New Year in an orderly manner and not overdo it, please maintain the health protocol," said Yana at the Public Service Mall on Jalan Cianjur, Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

Yana said, the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) continues to strive to keep the City of Bandung conducive at the end of 2022. Moreover, this weekend the city of Badung will be filled with tourists who want to go on vacation.

For this reason, Yana hopes that event organizers will still refer to the applicable regulations. Whereas in the city of Bandung it is still included in the Implementation of Restricting Community Activities (PPKM) Level 1.

Therefore, the number of visitors, operating hours to health protocols that must be considered.

"Activities (in buildings and malls) are allowed, but the form of the activities will be seen later. Because the permit is from the Covid-19 Task Force. It must be orderly and conducive," he said.

Yana hopes that at this moment, residents can enjoy the New Year happily and in an orderly manner.

"We urge no firecrackers, because it is dangerous. No fireworks and flares," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the discourse on holding a car free night, Yana admitted that it was still being discussed with related agencies and agencies.
