"Currently 96.47 percent of our needs come from outside. Of course we are trying to maintain stocks of various commodities," said Yana at the Bandung City Hall, Tuesday, December 31, 2023.

Regarding price fluctuations and supply of a number of food commodities, Yana ensured that she would continue to coordinate and communicate with the Ministry of Trade to increase supply and carry out market operations.

"Hopefully we can ask the Ministry of Trade again to supply it again for market operations. It's normal before religious holidays," he said.

"We try to fulfill the supply. We maintain the stock," he added.

Previously, Head of the Trade and Industry Office for the City of Bandung, Elly Wasliah said, the Bandung City Government would hold a bazaar in 30 sub-districts and 151 urban villages ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan in March 2023.

"We will hold bazaars before Ramadan around March. At the latest the second week of March we will hold bazaars in 30 districts before and during Ramadan," he said.

"There is cooperation between distributors of Wagros (Wholesale Stalls) and PKK to hold low-cost markets in 151 urban villages," added Elly. (rob)**
