Symbolically, in the city of Bandung this activity was held at the Pendopo, Friday 3 February 2023.

Mayor of Bandung Yana Mulyana hopes that this activity can accelerate Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) in the City of Bandung.

"By clearing the boundaries of the land and completing the certificate, the community will get legal certainty. On the other hand, this certificate has economic value for the community," said Yana.

He hopes that the installation of land parcel stakes in the city of Bandung can minimize land conflicts that often occur.

"Technically, we hope that the lurah and sub-district heads will help. Because friends in the region know more about the needs in the region," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bandung City Land Office, Nugraha said, this activity was part of the PTSL program including the Bandung City Land Office program to certify assets in the City of Bandung.

"We will immediately help support the local government (to certify some assets)," he said.

For information, there are around 12,000 of the 17,000 parcels of regional asset land in the city of Bandung that have been certified.

He said, the number of 12,000 was added by another 650 to 12,650, so that the remaining land parcels certification targets in the city of Bandung amounted to around 4,350.

"But everything is gradual, yes, not this year," he said.

In addition, he also explained that the installation of land plot stakes was the beginning of land certificate activities and the beginning of efforts to protect land from other parties.

“One of the land problems is when the land owner does not take care of it. the land. And one of the ways to protect it is to set stakes, so that we know who owns the land," he added.

This is also in line with the direction of the Minister of ATR/BPN Hadi Tjahjanto via online channels. He said land certificates could provide legal certainty and economic rights to the community.

"So that each individual can protect his own land," said Hadi.

For information, during this activity the inauguration of the PTSL adjudication committee was also held by the Head of the Bandung City Land Office and witnessed by the Mayor of Bandung, the Regional Secretary of the City of Bandung, and the OPD staff present. (ray)**
