The park is the first educational thematic park in the city of Bandung. The park can be used by the community, especially students, to study in open spaces.

"The Terracotta Educational Park is a public space used for students to carry out activities outside the classroom," said Yana.

He said the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) is trying to provide open space for the community. This time especially as a vehicle for education.

"The most important thing is that it is properly maintained, including by residents. So this space is not only an educational space but also a water absorption space which can have an impact on increasing water discharge," he said.

The financing for an area of 435 square meters uses Bandung City APBD funds and the support of various parties.

"This is also the result of the support of various parties. Hopefully residents will participate so they can take advantage of it," he said.

Yana said, although this is the first educational thematic park, other public spaces can also be utilized, such as the Terracotta Garden.

"Actually, like an elderly park, education can also be made, that's possible. A thematic park specifically for education is new here," he said.

Yana hopes that the presence of public spaces can increase the happiness index of the people of Bandung City.

"Obviously this public space apart from improving the water absorption ecosystem, is also utilized by residents to be able to do activities to increase the happiness index, which has a direct impact on immunity," he explained.

In the same place, Head of the Water Resources and Highways Service, Didi Ruswandi explained, the area is a protected forest that is used as an educational space.

"Overall, this is a forest that must be protected. We want it, residents are aware. This is a strategic object for the lives of Bandung residents," he said.

He revealed that the area of the area is 435 square meters with a contractual cost of IDR 189 million and a construction period of around 3 months.

"Hopefully the learning process is not only in the classroom, but open space can also be utilized," he explained. (yan)**
