Genre Ambassadors Become Bandung City Youth Role Models

In his remarks, Yunimar advised Genre Ambassadors to be role models for their peers and to be close to the community.

"This is an opportunity to show our existence as human beings that are useful for others," he said.

He hopes that Duta Genre can invite friends of Bandung City's youth to stay away from three problems, namely child marriage, free sex, and drug abuse.

"We really hope that Duta Genre will become an integral part of efforts to suppress these three problems," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Population Control and Family Planning Service for the City of Bandung, Dewi Kaniasari said, the purpose of the Genreaction #6 activity was to increase the knowledge and abilities of adolescents related to planning family life through modifying competitions that contain genre substance material.

"The expected results include increasing the ability of District Genre Ambassadors to understand the content of the 4 substance genres, increasing harmonization between mothers and genre ambassadors in their respective regions," he said.

"As well as increasing the socialization of genre programs by genre ambassadors and mothers as a form of participation in realizing the national character of youth in preparation for Indonesia Gold 2045," he added.

For information, Genreaction #6 is a real example of the process of involving youth in a meaningful way in the form of a Genre Competition Festival.

In this festival, Genre Ambassadors are contested along with Genre Mothers in their respective regions.

3rd Place: Arcamanik District,
1st Runner Up: Ujungberung District,
