Traveling Tarawih, the City Government and the Bandung City Baznas Give Thousands of Aid Packages

This assistance was symbolically given directly by the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, to representatives at the Daarul Ulum Mosque, Tamansari Bukit Bandung Complex, Sindangjaya Village, Mandalajati District, Tuesday 28 March 2023.

These assistance include:

1. Cash of IDR 10 million each for 6 mosques in the sub-district

2. Rp. 5 million in cash each for 151 mosques in the sub-district

3. Help to appreciate the Ulama for 30 District MUI Chairmen.

4. Compensation for 1,510 elderly duafa each IDR 800,000.

5. Compensation for 453 orphans, IDR 600,000 each.

6. Compensation for 1,000 Dai, Marbot and Teachers each IDR 500,000.

7. Compensation for 6,000 Gober, Linmas and IT officers in the Bandung City Government Environment, Rp. 300,000 each.

Yana said, Ramadan must be a momentum to knit and create a religious Bandung.

"Ramadan opens a new chapter of blessings for all of us," he said.

"Hopefully this assistance can provide blessings," he added.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the DKM Darul Ulum Mosque, Agus Saripudin, was grateful for the presence of the Mayor of Bandung.

Agus said the life and harmony of religious communities in his area was very well established.

"The activities here are extraordinary, especially the women. Religious life in the Darul Ulum Complex is very tolerant. No one fights here. The community is open," he said.

He hopes that this traveling tarawih can strengthen the relationship between Umaro and the community.

"Daarul Ulum is a center for knowledge studies. Hopefully with the arrival of the umaro, the friendship will get closer, closer and understanding," he said.

Also attending the tarling activity were the Regional Secretary of Bandung City Ema Sumarna, the head of the Bandung City Ministry of Religion Office, Tedi Ahmad Junaedi, elements of the District Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimcam), as well as the Head of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD).

Also present were the sub-district heads of the former Ujungberung area and Forkopimcam, the head of the Bandung city court, and the former heads of the Ujungberung area.

It is planned that this traveling Tarawih activity will be held in 6 places in the former Bandung City area. (rob)**
