As many as 11 Macro Indicators for the City of Bandung Have Improved

In 2022, the City of Bandung will experience improvement in a number of sectors compared to the previous year. There are 11 macro indicators showing improvement in 2022.

This was revealed in the 2022 Accountability Statement Report (LKPJ) submitted by the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana at the Bandung City DPRD plenary meeting, Thursday 30 March 2023.

In front of council members, Yana said that throughout 2022 the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) had made various achievements.

The 11 macro indicators for the City of Bandung which are experiencing improvement and progress in 2022 are as follows:
1. Human development index (IPM)
2. Hope to go to school
3. Average length of schooling
4. Life Expectancy
5. Spending per capita per year
6. The rate of economic growth
7. GRDP prices apply
8. GRDP at constant prices
9. Open unemployment rate
10. Poverty rate and
11. Total education of the poor.

"Overall, 11 macro indicators have achieved good performance. There are still 2 macro indicators that have not optimal performance achievements, namely inflation and the gini ratio," he explained.

In its report, there were 71 awards won by the Bandung City Government consisting of 3 international level awards, 36 national level awards and 32 provincial level awards.

Yana revealed that executive performance is actually directed at improving the welfare of Bandung City residents as reflected in 13 macro indicators.

The 2022 LKPJ was prepared based on Permendagri Number 12 of 2020 concerning Reports and Evaluation of the Implementation of Local Government and is a form of accountability for the Mayor of Bandung for the fourth year in the Bandung City RPJMD 2018-2023.

Yana said, in the first mission, the human development index or HDI in 2022 was 82.50 from the target of 81.10 or a performance achievement of 101.72 percent.

In the second mission, the index of bureaucratic reform in 2022 with a score of 75.08 or the BB category and the smart city maturity level in 2022 is 3.88 points or category A of target B, so that the performance achievement exceeds the target.

Whereas in the third mission, the economic growth rate based on BPS data for 2022 economic growth for the City of Bandung in 2022 is 5.41 percent when compared to 2021 of 3.76 percent, so economic growth in 2022 will grow positively 1.65 percent.

The Gini index or Gini ratio is 0.459, GRDP per capita based on BPS data for 2022 is Rp. 85.82 million and expenditure per capita is Rp. 17,639,000 per person.

Furthermore, in the fourth mission, the liveable city index for environmental and infrastructure spatial planning aspects with a target of 7.875 in 2022 was achieved at 7.453 or a performance achievement of 94.64 percent.

For the fifth mission, high budget effectiveness is above 100 percent. Thus it can be said that in 2022 to achieve the targets in the 5 missions of the city of Bandung, the realized budget has been effectively allocated and used.

With regard to the mayor's promises, out of a total of 26 mayors, 24 promises have been made, in 2022 they have reached 100 percent or more, only one mayor's promises have achieved between 80 and 99.9 percent and only one mayor's promises have been realized in under 80 percent.

"Overall, the realization of the Mayor's promise for 2022 provides sufficient confidence that in 2023 all of these promises will be fulfilled, God willing," he said.

Yana said, success in achieving these performance targets was inseparable from the support of the Bandung City Council and the existence of collaboration, synergy and cooperation with all development stakeholders in the City of Bandung.

"During the fourth year we carry out the wheels of government and carry out services for the citizens of the city of Bandung sincerely," he said.

"For that, I would especially like to thank the leadership and all respected members of the board, community leaders, religious leaders, Bandung and West Java elders who always provide input including criticism of our leadership," he added. (rob)**
