RW Forum Greets Enthusiastically the Presence of RW Police
Keeping the city of Bandung conducive is the responsibility of all parties, not only the police but also residents.
To synergize this, the National Police launched the RW Police. In the city of Bandung, the RW Police was launched on Thursday 11 May 2023. There are as many as 1,600 RW police who are ready to collaborate in maintaining security and order in the city of Bandung.
The heads of the RW in the city of Bandung welcomed the presence of the RW Police positively.
"Of course we appreciate the presence of the RW Police in the city of Bandung. It helps facilitate RW performance in Kamtibnas," said Chair of the Bandung City RW Forum, Lily Maulana after attending the launch of the RW Police by the West Java Regional Police in front of Gedung Sate Jalan Diponegoro, Tuesday 15 May 2023.
The presence of the RW Police, said Lily, would make coordination easier and faster.
"The number of RWs in the city of Bandung is 1,594, coordination is more responsive," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Police Security Maintenance Agency, Komjen Pol Fadil Imran explained, the RW Police were formed to narrow down the space for criminals to move.
"If there is an incident immediately reported, monitored as well. Move quickly in action," he said.
According to him, this program places police personnel from various functions in each RW. This is to improve security and order in the framework of service to the community. (yan)**
