Yep, jenang porridge is available in the city of Bandung. The name of the restaurant is Ndalem Katresnan, Jalan Ir. H. Djuanda (Dago) to be exact in front of the Darul Hikam Foundation school.

Selling Javanese specialties, this restaurant is synonymous with jenang, which is a favorite food for almost everyone. In fact, from small children to adults also enjoy the food dish.

"Here there is palm sugar marrow, green beans, white sticky rice with palm sugar, pearls, Thai cassava, black sticky rice and candil sweet potato," said Ndalem Katresnan Manager, Seni to Public Relations of the City of Bandung.

Regarding the price, consumers only need to spend Rp. 14,000 - Rp. 19,000. Because without preservatives, the food served can only be consumed for that day.

"It lasts a day, so if you take it a way (wrap), it's enough to store it in the refrigerator," he said.

Besides that, there is a mainstay menu, namely Jenang Gendis Ayu. There is also a variety of light to heavy meals. Like, Oseng Mercon rice, mendoan and fried bananas.

"There are also traditional drinks, tea pots of rock sugar, wedang uwuh, ginger wedang to palm sugar milk coffee. Prices start from Rp. 15,000 - Rp. 19,000," he said.

For operating hours every day, Ndalem Katresnan is open at 07.30-15.00 WIB.

"We open every day, if it's busy it's breakfast time, early in the morning. There are those who are exercising, they take time to have breakfast here," he said.

The owner of Ndalem Katresnan, Irma revealed, the restaurant has been operating since last October 2021. Initially, he had a hobby in the culinary field. So he and his husband intend to introduce this typical Central Javanese food.

"I'm originally from Yogyakarta, I find it difficult to find this traditional Central Javanese food. Incidentally, my husband and I have a hobby of cooking, so we want to introduce and preserve this snack to Bandung residents. We also want to treat the homesickness of immigrants from Yogya, especially those in Bandung," he explained. .
