Release 2,396 Candidates for Hajj Pilgrimage, Plh Mayor of Bandung: Health is the most important thing

A total of 2,396 prospective pilgrims from the City of Bandung were released to depart for the holy land, Saturday 20 May 2023. The release was carried out by the Daily Executor of Bandung Mayor Ema Sumarna at the West Java Dairy Center.

Ema hopes that the departing pilgrims will always be given health and smoothness in performing the pilgrimage.

"We pray for the 2,396 pilgrims from the city of Bandung to always be healthy, safe and able to return in the next 40 days and become haj mabrur mabruroh," said Ema.

Furthermore, he advised the pilgrims to equip themselves with knowledge in performing the pilgrimage.

He also advised pilgrims to pay attention to their health during the pilgrimage.

"I leave it to you, ladies and gentlemen, never let your guard down in carrying out health protocols, especially since you and your mom will be going on a trip which will take quite a while," said Ema.

"In the holy land, it's like being in your own village. The food, facilities, and more are extraordinary," he added.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Office of the Ministry of Religion for the City of Bandung Tedi Ahmad Junaedi revealed, the pilgrims in the City of Bandung were divided into 7 groups.

The first flight will depart on May 29 2023. Meanwhile, the last flight will depart in June 2023.

"Alhamdulillah, the pilgrims who have paid off the cost of the pilgrimage trip are in accordance with the quota for the city of Bandung, even more," he said. (ray)**
