The data is the Improved Provisional Voter List (DPS HP). In the 2019 election, the voter list in the city of Bandung was around 1,743,000. This number has now increased to around 1,879,000.

“Currently we are running the voter update stage. As is known, there has been an increase in HP DPS compared to the 2019 Election," said Suharti.

He also appealed to the people of Bandung City to be active and responsive in reporting if there are individuals or family members who have not been registered as DPS.

The method is easy, all you have to do is check on the Cekdptonline.kpu.go.id site. Then enter the National Identity Number (NIK) or passport number.

"When our names appear, it means we are safe, we have been registered as voters. But if our names are not yet available, please provide feedback on the link, or provide feedback to our officers at PPS (Kelurahan), PPK (District) or through us at KPU Bandung City," he said.

In addition, Suharti also said that currently there are 7 areas that have been proposed to become Special Voting Places (TPS).

For your information, Special TPS are voting places that require special regulations, such as in correctional institutions (prisons), prisons (remand centers), or hospitals, so that people can still get their right to vote in the upcoming 2024 General Election and Pilkada.

“There are 7 special locations that have been proposed. Among others: Maranatha Campus, NHI Bandung Tourism Polytechnic, Manufacturing Polytechnic, Bandung City Prison and Detention Center, and Bandung City Hospital. The hope is that with this special TPS, residents outside the city of Bandung who live in Bandung will get their right to vote," said Suharti.

As a reminder, the City of Bandung recorded a voter turnout rate of up to 87 percent in the 2019 Election. In the 2024 General Election and Pilkada, the Bandung City Government is targeting the turnout rate to increase to 90 percent.
