For this reason, he has ordered the Water Resources and Highways Service (DSDABM) to collect data and calculate the budget for road repairs including sidewalk repairs so that it can be budgeted for in the upcoming 2024 budget.
"I have imagined this will require quite a large amount of funds, even up to hundreds of billions. Of course, we ask the DSDABM to calculate which ones can be prioritized in 2024," he said.
This year, several road sections that will undergo repairs include Jalan Merdeka, Jawa, Gegerkalong and Jalan M Toha. DSDABM will do road overlay or paving.
