Freerunners Bandung: No One Runs Alone

Running has now become a trend and is increasingly popular with the people of Bandung. That's because running is an easy and flexible sport compared to other types of sports that require special equipment, a separate place and time.

A number of running communities have sprung up in the city of Bandung. One of them is Freerunners.

Freerunners is a running community in the city of Bandung which was formed on October 14 2017. This community has a routine activity which they call SMR (Saturday Morning Run, Sunday Morning Run and Seasonal Morning Run).

The minimum running distance is 5 km with different routes at each meeting.

"Apart from maintaining health, this activity is an invitation not to be lazy to move," said Aji, Road Captain Freerunners.

"From this activity, we can establish friendship and increase relations from various groups. Starting from students, workers, even to those who are already married," added Dea, Admin of Freerunners.

Freerunners is very open to anyone who is interested in joining. All you have to do is look at the activity schedule information on the Instagram account @Freerunners_bdg, and you can come directly to the meeting point location, without any conditions and it's free.

"For those who want to join, don't worry. Don't be afraid to be left behind because according to our tag line, no one runs alone," said Aji.

On the Seasonal Morning Run, Thursday 1 June 2023, the meeting point location is at Jijou Coffee & Social. With the running route Cibadak - Temple - Looping Paskal 23 - St. Barat - Wastukencana - Merdeka - Lembong-Naripan - Braga - Cibadak. With a total distance of 8 km.
