Indra, a resident of Buahbatu for example. He has been waiting for CFD to return to Bandung for more than a year. This man who likes cycling positively welcomes the presence of CFD.

"Of course I'm happy, yes. The air is fresh. I hope you can attend consistently, because it's only a few hours of activity," said Indra.

The same thing was also expressed by the young couple Gio and Denisa who had come all the way from Pameungpeuk, Bandung Regency to enjoy CFD in Bandung City.

He brought his baby and admitted that he was very happy to be nostalgic for CFD.

"I used to be a junior high school student in the city of Bandung, around the 2011s. And I often came to CFD. After there was no CFD for a while, I kept coming back, of course it's nice to be here again. There are lots of memories from CFD," said Gio.

"That's right. We also came here while on vacation with our children," Denisa added.

Then there's Ulul, Kiki, Resti, and Arya. The four of them are ITB students who are currently migrating to the city of Bandung. They enthusiastically welcomed the return of CFD.

"CFDs in the city of Bandung are always lively. It's nice to be here to enjoy the atmosphere," said Kiki.

"Maybe it's not as lively as it used to be, it's also because it's the first time. We hope this will be held regularly and it will get busier," said Arya.

Municipal Government Makes Sure Visitor Convenience
Meanwhile, Bandung Mayor Ema Sumarna, who was present to review the CFD event, said that this activity is planned to be held twice a month, namely in the first and third week.

"Of course we are very happy to see the enthusiasm of the community. Moreover, those who come are not only the people of the city of Bandung. The peak of this CFD activity is usually at 08.00-09.00 WIB," said Ema.

For information, CFD activities in the city of Bandung have only been held in the Dago area. Ema said, with various considerations from today's review, it is possible that CFD will be held at other points in the city of Bandung.

"If conditions improve, it is possible that it will be opened in other regions, such as Asia and Africa," he explained.

To ensure the comfort of CFD visitors, Ema ensured that personnel from the Department of Transportation (Dishub) and Satpol PP were present at the CFD and spread out.

"We pay attention to the street vendors as well. Then we look at the parking pockets, are they sufficient? But all Dishub Satpol PP personnel have been deployed (to ensure the comfort of visitors)," he explained.

In line with Ema, Bandung Police Chief Kombes Pol Budi Sartono ensured that the police were present to maintain the comfort of CFD visitors.

He also ensures that CFD traffic engineering runs normally like the pre-pandemic era.

"We do checks to ensure people's comfort while enjoying CFD. Traffic engineering is also implemented properly," he explained.(ray)**
